Halo Water Proofing has been the trusted call for Basement Waterproofing across Somerdale because we answer the phone, show up when we say, and stand behind the work.
Background-checked Somerdale technicians · Written pricing
Halo Water Proofing started small in the Somerdale area and grew because customers kept referring us to their neighbors — that's still how most of our work comes in today.
Every Somerdale technician we send is background-checked and trained on the exact equipment we install — not a subcontractor picked up for the day.
Our Somerdale crew leads carry years of hands-on repair experience, not just sales training — which is why the advice you get on-site tends to match what actually needs fixing.
Talk to a real Somerdale technician today, not an automated queue. We'll explain what's going on and get you scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Somerdale calls didn't start with a flood — they started with one of these small signs weeks or months earlier.
If the basement smells damp no matter the season, water is likely finding a way in somewhere you can't see.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Somerdale crews see.
It's easy to mistake efflorescence for harmless dust, but it actually signals active moisture movement.
A Somerdale sump pump that never rests is usually undersized or nearing the end of its life.
This is one sign we tell Somerdale customers never to wait on — wall movement tends to progress, not resolve on its own.
Flooring that's cupping near an exterior wall often traces straight back to a basement moisture issue below.
Whatever's going on with your Somerdale property, chances are we've already fixed something similar nearby this month.
A flooded Somerdale basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews pull the standing water and start drying the space the same visit.
Get Emergency Help →Seasonal ground movement in Somerdale tends to widen existing cracks over time, so sealing early usually costs less than waiting.
Ask About Crack Repair →Already have a pump that's struggling? We'll test it honestly and tell you whether it needs replacing or just a tune-up.
Book a Pump Check →Some Somerdale properties need both systems working together — we'll say so honestly instead of selling just one.
Talk Drainage Options →Musty smell upstairs with no obvious source? Check the crawl space first — it's usually the culprit.

We figure out fast whether this needs an emergency dispatch or a scheduled inspection.
We point out exactly what we find as we find it, so nothing about the diagnosis feels like a black box.
No verbal number that quietly grows once the truck pulls up — the written quote is the final word.
You get documentation of the work plus a real warranty — not just a handshake.
We've heard every Somerdale horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
We quote the job in writing after seeing it in person, so there's no surprise on the final invoice.
We're not routing your call through a national center — the person who answers is close by.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
If your Somerdale basement just needs a small crack seal instead of a full system, that's exactly what we'll tell you.
We can supply the documentation most carriers ask for before approving a Somerdale claim.
Word of mouth is still how most Somerdale customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Called during a storm and had a tech at my door within two hours. Explained everything before touching anything — basement's been dry since."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"Expected a huge bill for three cracks, only one actually needed injection. Appreciated the honesty."
"Insurance claim was stressful until they stepped in with photos and a written scope. Approved within a week."
"Crew was respectful of our landscaping during the drain install and left the yard looking better than before they started."
We back our Somerdale work with real, transferable warranties because we plan to be here long after the job is done, not just for the one visit.
